Pat plays steel guitar like nobody's business. He switches effortlessly between the C and E necks, and with both hands, feet, and legs, generates that full band sound.
- Aaron McCloskey adds vocals AND plays hot lead guitar in the classic western swing style. He is a Massachusetts native, but graduated from the highly acclaimed music program at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas where he learned his western swing chops from the great Joe Carr. Aaron is an accomplished teacher of guitar and banjo at Swallow Hill Music School.
- Of all the Blue Mountain Ranch Hands, Dave Ball is the only Colorado native. He is the ideal bass player! He keeps the beat, walks the dog with authority, and he loves to sing and dance too! Dave has a great feel for gypsy jazz and the big band swing sound so he adds a flair of sophistication to the ranch hands mix.
- It's not just happenstance that Jani Little is in charge of internal band communications. She's an Iowa farm girl who learned to take the bull by the horns at a young age. She was bottle fed on hymns and harmonies, and she adds vocals and rhythm guitar to the mix.
- The elder statesman of the band, AKA the great white-haired father, Zeke Little has been keeping Western Swing music alive since he was a pup. He plays fiddle and mandolin and is always ready to be the vocalist or add a vocal harmony.
- Ron Jones is the proud owner of Ron Jones Fiddle and Guitar Studio where he teaches, sells, and repairs musical instruments. From time to time, he steps out to play western swing classics with the Blue Mountain Ranch Hands. He adds virtuoso fiddling and his singing wows the crowds.
